Responsibilities
This position is accountable for overseeing and coordinating the daily warehousing activities. The Warehouse Manager works collaboratively with the leadership team and Plant Director.
Essential Functions
Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods.
Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performance.
Organize and maintain inventory and storage area.
Ensure shipments and inventory transaction accuracy
Communicate job expectations and coach employees
Determine staffing levels and assign workload
Interface with customers to answer questions
Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status.
Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices.
Confer and coordinate activities with other departments.

Proven work experience as a warehouse manager
Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency
Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
Hands-on communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
Strong organizational and time management skills.

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
High School graduate or GED equivalent
BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration, preferred
5+ years of Warehouse Supervision experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions, correspondence and memos
Ability to write detailed correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in a one-on-one, small or large group situations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense and sound judgement when dealing with problems.
Ability to resolve problems successfully
Ability to carry out detailed written and/or oral instructions.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essentials function of the job.
While performing the job duties, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk and listen.
Work Environment-continued
While performing the job duties, the employees will work in a production floor environment. The production floor has a low to moderate noise level. The production environment will at times contain fumes and airborne particles.
