Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking a Full-Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP/FNP/AGNP/PA-C) licensed in Nevada to provide in-person mental health evaluations under our Outpatient Psychiatry service in Nevada.

*This role provides in-person diagnostic evaluations for patients normally receiving Tele-Health Psych services with BHS.

*This role is onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Provide face to face psychiatric services to patients in a clinic setting and through our telehealth software, Athena I.

• Assess patient’s mental status based on symptoms.

• Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.

• Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.

• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.

Job Types: Part-time, 1 day per week, W2 or Independent Contractor options available

Requirements

• Licensed in Nevada by the Board of Nursing in good standing as a PMHNP.

• Licensed by the Nevada Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances.

• Possession of a Nevada State DEA.

• Possession of an X-Wavier for Suboxone treatment (Optional).

• Malpractice Insurance.

• Provide services to patients 8+ years of age or older.

• 1 year experience providing telehealth services.

• 1 year Geri Psych experience.

Skills:

• Basic computer knowledge.

• Experience with EMR/EHR Systems (Athena I, a plus).

• Excellent written communication.

• Attention to detail.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Flexible, organized and functions under stressful situations.

• Fluency in Spanish is a PLUS!

Pay:

• $40.00 to $45.00 per Billable Hour or $65 - $78,500 annually DOE

• Pay is contingent upon pay structure preferred and experience.
