Responsibilities

The Philanthropy Specialist assists the Director of Philanthropy Communications and Marketing and

focuses on securing annual giving support from the Employee Giving Campaign, the St. Rose Saints

(grateful patient) program, and annual gift clubs for the St Rose Dominican Health Foundation. The

Philanthropy Specialist will also assist with various administrative functions as requested. This position

serves as a key member of the Foundation team and assists the Foundation in achieving its annual

giving goals and objectives.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Two to three years’ experience in fund raising required.

  • Demonstrated experience in building and stewarding relationships.

  • Demonstrated experience in achieving established goals and objectives.

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality;

  • Demonstrated computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; Google Drive: Docs, Sheets, Slides and Forms. Excellent written and communication skills; superb project management and organization skills.

  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.

  • Familiarity with database programs (preferably Blackbaud CRM).

  • Self-starter, goal-oriented and focused; strong self-initiative and disciplined. Comfortably works with little direction.

  • Knowledge of CRM fundraising software.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a non-profit healthcare setting preferred.

  • Bachelor's Degree

Pay Range

$24.10 - $34.94 /hour
