Responsibilities

Facilities Maintenance personnel essentially complete repairs and maintain the structure and grounds of the entire facility. Some of these tasks include:

• Minor plumbing repairs, Minor electrical, painting, floor repairs, testing and operating support systems such as fire suppression equipment, chillers, etc.

• Following all safety requirements. Maintaining the exterior grounds, ie.utilizing blower equip. etc.

• Assembling and installing various items ie furniture, chairs, etc.

• Operating a variety of power equipment, ie. scissor lift, boom lift, floor scrubber, forklifts.

• Maintaining and keeping an inventory of supplies, working with contractors as well as internal staff.

• This is a fast paced position that requires flexibility as every day varies which makes it exciting!

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 yr previous facilities experience

• Basic mechanical skills

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent

• Ability to lift 35 pounds routinely, work in hot and cold, noisy environment, climb stairs, work at heights

• Comfortable wearing various PPE (Ear plugs, safety glasses, safety shoes, hair net, Hard hat etc)
