About this role:

  • As an Advanced Practitioner Provider in Cardiology, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will provide outpatient care in a clinic setting that is adjacent to the affiliate hospital St. Rose Dominican Hospital. This role is responsible for general cardiology responsibilities, clinical consultations, testing follow-ups, medical titration, the management of patients with co-morbidities and/or complex cases. Ensures patient satisfaction and develops plans to improve patient satisfaction. Your team will be comprised of experienced physicians, an APP lead, practice manager, and an operational leader.

  • This position includes a sign-on bonus, quality incentive program, and a team-based approach to patient care.

  • You will practice at Green Valley Cardiology Clinic located at 2865 Siena Heights Drive Suite 331, Henderson, NV 89052

  • Your hours will be Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm or 4/10’s

  • You will be assigned a reasonable patient load

  • Built in buddy system when you join

  • No call requirement

What you’ll bring:

  • Must have or be eligible for a current and unrestricted NP or PA Nevada License

  • APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program

  • AANP or NCCPA certification

  • 2 years’ experience required

  • BLS and ACLS certification and DEA

  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

  • We are not able to accept candidates requiring Visa sponsorship at this time

  • Ability to float between practice locations as needed

Physical Requirements:

Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.

  • and -

Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.

  • and -

Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.

  • and -

Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.

  • and -

Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc).

  • and -

May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$54.84 - $84.63
