Job Overview: This position is aTraining Specialistfor the Motor Vehicle Division of the Department of Justice. The position acts as a business process expert to: perform business process analysis, assist in the development, design, integration, and implementation of division training programs, audit training processes and activities, write system release notes, and conduct system testing and research. This position reports to the Vehicle Services Division Bureau Chief. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree * 2 years training, teaching or related field * Other combinations of education or experience may be substituted Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Advanced knowledge of business operations management, personnel management practices, customer service models and techniques, and the ability to make timely decisions regarding business operations. * Extensive knowledge and skill to operate a computer, tablet, and multiple software applications; has a basic understanding of network systems; knowledge in the use of general office equipment including printers, fax, scanners, and phones. * Working knowledge of federal and state regulations for driver licensing and identification card issuance, organ donor, motor voter, and traffic laws. * Ability to create and maintain strong, professional internal and external relationships. * Ability to communicate effectively to resolve complex customer service and driver related issues, including the ability to recognize when additional assistance is needed. * Exhibits a strong ability to manage in person and remotely. * Exhibits strong decision-making skills, independently and in partnership with the team, and takes responsibility for decisions made. * Displays a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
