Westaff is seeking a temporary IT Business Analyst for a State office in Helena, MT! Schedule: M-F, Business hours (7am-4pm or 8am-5pm) Term: 6 months - 1 year Pay: $27-$32/hour DOE Duties:Provide business analysis assistance for large data system migrations and implementation projects to include requirements analysis, documentation of business processes, migration, and testing of data in the modernized Vital Records system and public health instance of the Snowflake data lake.Work closely with the Surveillance and Informatics section supervisor, and Office of Vital Records.Validate data and track defects.Test data modules.Coordinate efforts with development team.Work with subject experts and vendors.Participate in weekly meetings with DPHHS staff and vendors Qualifications: Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, computer programming, systems development, public health or medical informatics, electronic information management or comparable math or science disciplines with significant coursework in information systems.
