In this role...

You will be a key leader in the commercial controlling team of Essential Homes in DACHN Region. Co-pilot with the DACHN Region FD and a trustworthy Business partner with key business stake holders. Plan, Analyze and track the strategic direction of the organization. Flag risk & opportunities and provide financial and commercial insights for better decision making. Own the CFC planning, tracking and controlling of our region. Opportunity to make a difference in a purpose driven company.

Your responsibilities

In summary, you'll have the following responsibilities:

  • Independent supervision of assigned customers/channels/ distributors, including coordination with the sales partners involved

  • Responsibility for month-end closing and trade accrual management

  • Largely independent preparation of plans, reports, forecasts and analyses and deriving measures and proposals; deliver insights to improve decision-making.

  • Business partner in preparation of input and insights for business/customer reviews.

  • Carrying out analyses and evaluations as well as deriving measures and proposals including possible risk/opportunity assessments

  • Participation in projects in controlling and with business partners (cross functionally)

  • Initiate, design and manage continuous improvement of various tools, processes and procedures within controlling and with the business partners

  • Controlling trade investment budgets

  • Business partner role to his/her stakeholders – mainly Key Account Managers, Sales Director, country sales managers and Finance Director

  • Support Key Account managers providing necessary tools and information for year-end negotiations with customers

  • Interaction with internal or external auditors.

The experience we're looking for

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Business Administration (Berufsakademie)

  • Major in Finance is a plus

  • 3-4 years’ working experience in Finance/Commercial Controlling

  • Experience in extremely competitive, fast moving FMCG environment Industry: Branded Consumer Goods companies

  • Sales controlling experience of complex market is a plus

  • Excellent English (able to present and negotiate in English)
