Roles & Responsibilities of The Process Leader:

· Responsibilities:

The Shipping and Distribution Process Lead job responsibilities, tasks and key functions include but are not limited to:

• Provide coaching, training and mentoring of shipping and distribution team personnel.

• Complete daily, weekly and monthly inventory counts on finished product trays.

• Cross functional communication with other Klosterman Baking Company facilities and shipping depots on tray inventories and shipping and distribution team issues and needs.

• Ensure all trailers are loaded properly and in accordance with the shipping load sheet.

• Indicate code use through changes based on production orders.

• Record appropriate information on shipping and distribution documentation i.e. code letters before finished product release.

• Facilitating daily pre-shift and pass-down meetings with shipping and distribution team personnel.

• Always ensuring the appropriate departmental coverage in the facility which may include working split shifts or inconsistent shifts in order to increase departmental productivity.

• Ensuring all production finished product counts are accurate and adequate to fulfill customer orders.

• Provide innovative ideas on departmental and employee improvements as applicable.

• Verify and adjust shipping and distribution forms and bill of lading documents as necessary.

• Attend all facility and corporate meetings as required.

• Ensure all trailers are clean and secured with a security / shipping seal prior to shipment.

• Maintain the shipping and distribution docks and surrounding areas in a clean and sanitary manner.

• Ensuring shipping and distribution department personnel complete all safety, food safety and job specific training activities as required.

• Must be certified in Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Operation

• Any other job tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
