Position Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented Servers to join our team at The Tap at Humboldt Depot. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, take food and drink orders, and ensure guests have a pleasant and memorable dining experience. Servers will be responsible for offering menu suggestions, delivering orders in a timely manner, and ensuring all guest needs are met with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
  • Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders, offer menu recommendations, and answer any questions guests may have.
  • Ensure guests are satisfied with their meals and service, addressing any concerns or special requests promptly.
• Order Processing:
  • Input orders into the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and proper delivery of orders.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner.

• Cleanliness & Presentation:

  • Maintain clean and organized dining areas, including tables and seating areas.

  • Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and health safety standards.

  • Clear and reset tables promptly after guests leave.

  • Teamwork:

    • Work closely with other servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operation during service.
    • Assist in restocking items, cleaning, and preparing the restaurant for service as needed.

  • Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role preferred.

  • 21 and over

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Excellent multitasking and time-management abilities.

  • Must be friendly, energetic, and able to provide outstanding customer service.

  • Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or plates weighing up to 25 pounds.
