Whats the job?

Under the general direction of the Guest Logistics Manager, you will be required to assist with the smooth running of daily Arrivals and Departures schedule to ensure a seamless experience for each and every guest while adhering to the four pillars of True Hospitality. We seek a candidate to provide leadership for the other Porters to ensure all colleagues receive the relevant onboarding, training, guidance, and support.

A little taste of your day-to-day

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will liaise with the Transport Supervisor and Coordinator to manage daily operations, oversee luggage collection and delivery, troubleshoot issues, and ensure accurate communication of room moves and VIP statuses. Responsibilities include maintaining logs for equipment repairs, ensuring weekly mechanic checks, and completing onboarding processes. Additionally, the role involves providing training for porters, enforcing front office procedures, ensuring team safety and efficiency, and performing porter duties.

The candidate will maintain high standards of behavior and appearance, ensuring all equipment is in good order and reporting any faults promptly. They will deliver courteous and efficient service, greet guests warmly, handle guest requests accurately, and maintain the integrity of service and ambiance. A deep understanding of hotel services and facilities is essential, as well as the ability to manage service flow during peak times to ensure a seamless guest experience.

What we need from you

  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience as a Bell Attendant / Porter in a fast paced environment

  • Valid Full Driver License

  • RSA certificate for Queensland

  • Secondary Education or equivalent.
