Robert Half Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Hayden, Idaho

Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team located in Hayden, Idaho. This role plays a crucial part in our construction industry, with the successful candidate expected to lead and support the accounting staff, oversee financial reporting operations, and assist in the development and implementation of company controls and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Train, manage, and mentor the accounting staff to foster a culture of communication, collaboration, and accountability.

• Oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable, Retainage, and Lien Releases for operations and financial reporting.

• Prepare recurring and non-recurring journal entries.

• Prepare and communicate cash forecasts.

• Prepare or review monthly account reconciliations.

• Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual close deadlines.

• Ensure accurate and timely financial and operational data.

• Advise management on financial issues or opportunities identified.

• Assist in the preparation and reporting of annual budgets or financial forecasts.

• Lead or assist in developing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with company controls.

• Lead or assist in developing, implementing, and communicating company processes.

• Lead or assist in developing, implementing, and deploying company accounting systems.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, Great Plains (GPAC), and Billing Functions.

• Extensive knowledge of accounting functions, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and auditing.

SALARY RANGE: $80k - $120k DOE

    Requirements • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as an Accounting Manager or Supervisor.

• Comprehensive understanding and practical experience with Accounting Software Systems.

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is essential.

• Knowledge and experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions.

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC) is necessary.

• Must have a strong grasp of all accounting functions.

• Proven experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Auditing experience is a crucial requirement for this role.

• Prior experience with billing functions is required.
