Responsibilities:

  • Receiving & Storage: Accept and verify materials from receiving inspection, ensuring quantity, part numbers, and descriptions match paperwork. Organize and store materials neatly using FIFO (First In, First Out) techniques.

  • Data Entry: Log received items by part number into the computer system.

  • Inventory Management: Conduct daily cycle counts, maintain accurate inventory records, and verify transactions.

  • Attention to Detail: Count small parts accurately, using a microscope when necessary, to prevent errors through meticulous work.

  • Material Handling: Store and distribute raw materials, component parts, subassemblies, and assemblies to support manufacturing processes.

  • Production Support: Issue components to production lines as per schedule, maintaining necessary documentation.

  • Documentation: Read and interpret part requests, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and order picking lists.

  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure daily compliance with safety requirements and maintain a clean and organized stockroom.

  • Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in process improvement initiatives.

  • Teamwork & Training: Exhibit a positive attitude and assist in training other employees as needed.

  • Communication: Quickly communicate issues to Work Leads, Supervisors, Quality, or Management.

Requirements:

  • Legal: Must be a U.S. Person due to ITAR restrictions.

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a material handler, including receiving, inventory management, and material handling. Familiarity with kitting, material releasing, and cycle counting for inventory accuracy is essential.

  • Skills:

  • Experience using a microscope for detailed inspection of small parts.

  • Basic computer skills, including barcode scanning.

  • Basic Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

  • Ability to use MRP software; knowledge of Mapics/ERP is a plus.

  • Understanding of material measuring systems (weight, length, volume, each) and familiarity with fractions and decimals.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy items (up to 25 lbs).

  • Other: Strong communication skills and the ability to learn and follow company policies and procedures.

Salary Range:

$41,800.00-$55,880.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
