Amazon Program Manager, Business Operations, Ring in Hawthorne, California

Description

Amazon is seeking a Program Manager to join the Global Business Operations team at Ring and Blink focus on driving and delivering on operational excellence programs

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to drive operational excellence across the organization including business operations, supply chain, logistics, and others.

  • Own the planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact operational and technology programs to improve business outcomes

  • Create mechanisms to drive timely, accurate, and comprehensive project execution. Eliminate obstacles and drive issue resolution to ensure deliverables & timelines are met.

  • Identify and evangelize opportunities using business and customer business insights to drive continuous improvement.

  • Leverage data, technology, and partnerships to influence teams, drive alignment, and achieve measurable results

A day in the life

As a Program Manager, you'll spend your days relentlessly optimizing operations to support the development and delivery of innovative Ring and Blink products. This involves:

  • Analyzing data and metrics to identify opportunities for improvements across the value chain

  • Collaborating cross-functionally with teams in business operations, supply chain, logistics, finance and more

  • Leading the planning, execution, and tracking of high-impact initiatives that enhance efficiency and improve business outcomes globally

  • Influencing key stakeholders and aligning teams around a shared vision for operational excellence

About the team

The Ring and Blink Global Business Operations team is responsible for driving outstanding customer experiences by optimizing critical operational and supply chain functions across the industry-leading smart home brands Ring, Blink, and Amazon ecosystems.

  • As a key member of this team, you'll own, support, and influence a wide range of activities

  • You'll play a vital role in strengthening the customer experience, supporting business growth, and fueling the success of these smart home brands.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Hawthorne, CA, USA

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Asana and others

  • Ability to independently operate and lead through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
