Job Title: Night AuditorEmployer: Best Western Plus Great Northern Inn Rate of Pay: $14 -? wage (DOE) Hours: 11pm - 7am (2 days a week/8 hour shifts)Benefits: Medical Insurance is offered after 60 days of employment upon eligibility (100% of employee premium is paid by Employer), Aflac, VSP and Delta Dental are administered by the Employer. Prorated vacation after eligibility is met, use of pool, spa and fitness center at the Best Western Plus Great Northern Inn and the Best Western Plus Havre Inn and Suites, discounted meals, discounted hotel rooms at participating Best Western hotels.(up to 50% discounts worldwide).Job Duties: • Check front office accounting records for accuracy. • Verify cashier bag drops, perform basic bookkeeping duties, and compile information for the hotel’s financial records • Verify activity received from cashiers/bartenders. • Track room revenues, occupancy percentages, and other front office operating statistics. • Prepare summary of cash, checks, credit card activities, business charges, etc. reflecting the hotel’s financial performance for the day • Prepare bank deposits of cash, checks, and other forms of payment to send to the bank. • Process credit card batches and run night audit reports. • Post room charges and room taxes to guest accounts. Process guest charge vouchers and credit card vouchers. • Verify all account postings and balances. • Communicate/report directly to accounting department/operations on any overages/shortages or other issues that may arise. • Summarizes results of operations and prepare daily reports for management. • Enter data daily into several Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. • Conduct a daily reconciliation of every bank account. • Perform duties of a Front Desk Clerk Answer telephones, direct calls and take messages. Compile, sort and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities.
