Robert Half Office Manager in Hauppauge, New York

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Hauppauge, New York. This role is within a CPA Firm - Business Management where the successful candidate will be responsible for a range of accounting duties. The role will involve handling client billing, managing incoming calls, and overseeing the DocuSign process among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct collection calls to ensure timely payments from clients

• Handle client billing and invoice processing to maintain accurate financial records

• Post payments to keep track of all transactions

• Manage the dispatch of taxes and oversee the DocuSign process for seamless document handling

• Handle incoming calls and manage phone lines to ensure effective communication within the firm

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Microsoft Office Suites for various tasks

• Perform Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions

• Carry out Bank Reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate

• Oversee Billing Functions to ensure all invoices are issued and paid on time

• Utilize skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook for data management and communication purposes. Requirements • Must have at least 3 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a must

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook is required

• Must be able to perform Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required

• Experience in Bank Reconciliations is necessary

• Familiarity with Billing Functions is required

• Should be able to work in a CPA Firm - Business Mgmt environment

• Must have a proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
