Job Summary

Teach coursework in the graduate and undergraduate Speech-Language Pathology programs. Provide clinical supervision in the Speech-Language-Audiology Clinic. Develop a line of research/scholarly activity. Serve on University/College/School Committees.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Teach academic coursework in masters of Speech-Language Pathology curriculum.

  • Develop a line of research/scholarly activity.

  • Serve on University/College/School committees.

  • Supervise SLP graduate students in the Speech-Language-Audiology Clinic.

  • Teach courses in undergraduate Speech-Language Pathology program as needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

PhD or EdD in Speech-Language Pathology, Education, or closely related professional field from an accredited college or University. Will consider ABD applicants.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Demonstrate scientific, analytical, and numerical skills.

  • Be flexible.

  • Utilize teamwork and interpersonal skills.

  • Have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate with a diverse group of individuals.

  • Must demonstrate adaptability and persistence while working with individuals, their treatment plans and University students.

  • Must maintain currency on relevant research, professional certifications and continuing education.

  • Must demonstrate sensitivity, respect, and be discreet when dealing with confidential matters.

  • Must be detail orientated and timely with all required notes, files and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in teaching Speech-Language Pathology or related coursework. Expertise in speech, language, and Literacy.
