This is a job for a Lean Implementer position with a company located in the Hattiesburg, MS area. 

What you will do: As a Lean Specialist, you will have the opportunity to use your skills and expertise to optimize our people talents and resources by driving efficiencies throughout the value stream.

How you will do it: You will work alongside cross-functional teams, driving breakthrough performance in People, Quality, Material Flow, and Cost. With your experience in Value Stream Analysis and Lean principles, you will collaborate with the Lean Manager (or leadership team) to assess the current state of the plant's operations and develop a future state vision and implementation plan. As a coach, you will guide teams in understanding and executing Lean principles. Leveraging your lean background, you will identify, implement, and standardize model Lean lines/cells throughout the plant. You will use your statistical knowledge and basic computer skills to track project performance and assure timely completion and achievement of product/process quality and cost improvement goals. Support the development of Johnson Controls Management System (JCMS) targets and maturity plans to drive a lean culture in all areas of the business. Align with PBU and Site leadership strategic plans to prioritize projects, eliminate waste, and support the achievement of business results.

What we look for Required: We value individuals who show initiative, are motivated to exceed expectations, and possess solid leadership skills to manage both vertically and horizontally. Demonstrated high performance in current and previous positions. Knowledge and experience applying lean tools such as value stream mapping, kaizen, 5S, waste elimination, pull systems, kanban, standard work, poka yoke, problem solving processes and daily management. Has a solid grasp of manufacturing principles such as process knowledge, material flow, and maintenance. Ability to communicate effectively in verbal, written, and presentation skills. Effectively use Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Word, Teams and Outlook.

Preferred: Demonstrated knowledge of data and analytics visualization tools such as developing PowerBI dashboards. Knowledge of the Johnson Controls Management System (JCMS) and prior project leadership. Six sigma green belt or black belt. Experience providing engaging, hands on training to production and salary teams. #LI-MM1
