This is a job for a Facility Quality Manager position with the company located in Hattiesburg, MS area.

Job Summary: As a member of the Facility Leadership Team, the Quality Manager works with the operations to meet the facility production goals, focused on ensuring the mill produces Quality right first-time products, on time, meeting our customers' needs and ensuring GP is the preferred partner. The Facility Quality Manager (FQM) provides oversight at the facility for incoming raw materials, intermediates, and finished products manufactured in operations, and finished goods in packaging and warehousing.  This position will typically work Monday -- Friday and pay is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities: Be a champion for Product Safety and Quality certification programs & apply Operational Excellence Strategy and Principle Based Management (PBM) to foster a culture of transformation and continuous improvement of Quality Systems and Processes. Drive sustainable quality processes and systems through application of management systems and a cadence of verification through self and with operations leaders. Manage and develop quality inspectors and specialists. Oversee and implement Production and Commercialization Trials within the facility. Lead change management, quality process improvements, and drive to a zero-defect culture with use of technology and analytical tools. Conduct quality reviews with product systems and track performance against key action plans. Work with Operations and corporate capabilities to better align the Voice of the Customer (VOC) with the Voice of the Process (VOP). Assure supplier quality is meeting our needs to produce quality products. Use statistical methods to track, monitor, analyze and report quality performance in a way that informs leadership of the critical few improvement opportunities to work on, with recommend solutions utilizing Project Management Tools to monitor implementation and validate sustainability of changes. Collaborate with other GP quality leaders to leverage knowledge and build a transformational quality system that achieves our vision. Work with front-line employees to executive leaders, utilizing strong written and verbal communication skills to include the Challenge Process.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or a technical discipline OR 5 years of quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment to include utilizing statistical process control to monitor quality performance & managing direct reports. SQF Standards and cGMP experience. HACCP experience. Quality Auditor training (Internal and External). Experience utilizing quality management systems, particularly in an ERP Environment (SAP, JD Edwards).
