Position Overview:

• Job Title: Office Support/Receptionist
• Location: Hastings, Nebraska
• Schedule: Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5 PM (Extended hours may be required during certain times of the year)
• Pay: $15/hour
• Position Type: Temporary-to-Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform receptionist duties and general office support.
• Answer phones and direct calls accordingly.
• Assist walk-in traffic and provide excellent customer service.
• Prepare and issue marriage licenses.
• Process and maintain voter registrations.
• Assist with accounts payable procedures.
• Recruit election workers for all county elections.
• Process early voting requests in person and by mail.
• Stock supply boxes with necessary election supplies for polling locations.
• Log and balance daily point of sale transactions.
• File county surveys and perform other general office duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be a registered voter in Adams County.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
