How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Managing Oracle/IRIS Operations process including customer query, managing inbound & outbounds and application access.

  • Support all Maintenance related activities in Oracle/IRIS and other financial systems like Essbase, HFM/HFR, OBIEE, etc.

  • Ensure compliance with agreed SLA, internal guidelines, accounting policies/ protocols and managing internal and external audits.

  • Ensure process health through metrics-based governance.

  • Support and participate in process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives including business partner and customer initiatives.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders - Process Owners, Product owner, Technology partners.

  • Always ensure Financial Integrity and proactively identifying risks.

Profile /Experience

  • Strong customer management experience and needs to interact with various business users/units.

  • Strong functional skills backed with accounting domain knowledge. Knowledge of IRIS/Oracle/ERP/OBIEE.

  • Functional knowledge on Finance Processes.

Qualification /Critical Skills / Knowledge required

  • B.COM/B. Tech/MBA/Postgraduate with minimum 2-3 years of experience.

  • Strong People leadership skill.

  • Strong functional knowledge on Finance.

  • A strong ERP knowledge, Well-Developed Analytical Skills including financial accounting / reporting understanding.

  • Change management exposure, including establishing new processes.

  • A fast/keen learner with the ability to learn a detailed process quickly.

  • Ability to share technical knowledge and proactively encourage others to do the same. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Flexible to work in shifts as team require to have 24x7 support especially during the month close

Nature and complexity of communication handled by the role (internal & external)

  • Ability to interact with Business for gathering requirements independently and provide solutions to new requirements.

  • Socializing with multiple stakeholders to operationalize change or setup a new process.

  • This is a people leadership position.

  • The incumbent should have prior experience of leading a team of at least upto10 people and should be able to take responsibility for driving and managing a high level of Employee Motivation and Engagement

Conflicts & Challenges handled by the role

  • Multi-tasking. Understanding changes driven by Technology, Business Process, new enterprise initiatives, local requirements.

  • Quick turnaround with stringent timelines.
