How will you make an impact in this role?
Responsible for contacting clients with overdue accounts to secure the settlement of the account. Also they do preventive work to avoid future overdues with accounts that have a high exposure.
This position will support Accounting and reporting for Restructuring and Other Exist Costs. Key responsibilities include: Performing accounting, adequacy and reporting for the Company’s restructuring initiatives
Performing other accounting functions under the responsibility of Staff Groups team related to outplacement costs, legal cost, accounting for benefits and other HR costs etc
Supporting preparation of AXP annual footnote disclosures and legal entity financial disclosures related to commitments and contingencies
Supporting end-to-end reviews of key financial processes and driving enhancements where appropriate
Ensuring appropriate support documentation (eg. MFR’s) for key transactions
Supporting internal and external auditors with audit and quarterly review requirements
Assist with external reporting for the Company, including SEC and Bank Holding company filings, Earnings Releases and legal entity financial Disclosures.
Minimum Qualifications
CA/CPA plus 2-6 years of experience in finance and accounting operations.
Understanding of financial statement relationships between balance sheet and income statements.
Strong excel skills and good understanding and working knowledge of Oracle, Essbase
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Commitment to working in a team environment to achieve results.
