Our client, a global leader in the food and beverage industry, is seeking a Senior Packaging Engineer to join their dynamic team. • Job Title: Senior Packaging Engineer

• Location: Hartwell, GA (100% onsite)

• Pay Range: $72-77/hr

What’s the Job?

• Plan, conduct, and coordinate packaging process engineering functions.

• Review packaging engineering process design for capital projects.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external consultants.

• Drive continuous improvement efforts in packaging and process enhancements.

• Ensure line balancing, equipment specification, and successful testing.

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (required).

• 5+ years of experience in packaging equipment engineering within a manufacturing environment (required).

• Strong experience in secondary packaging with a proven ability to select appropriate technologies (required).

• Hands-on experience working in the field (required).

• Proficiency in Project Portfolio Management and Layout software (a plus).

• Strong understanding of OHSA, Project Management principles, and LEAN Manufacturing (a plus)

• Willingness to travel (up to 30%) to equipment suppliers and construction sites.
