Adecco US, Inc. Project Engineer in Hartford, Wisconsin
Job Purpose
The Project Engineer II is responsible for the comprehensive management of engineering projects, spanning from initial design through production approval. This includes oversight of tooling, fixtures, gauging, production routings, schedules, dimensional approval, cost analysis, profitability assessments, and direct customer communication and correspondence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following list of duties and responsibilities is not exhaustive and may be expanded or adjusted by management to meet the company’s needs. Additional tasks may include essential functions designated under the Project Engineer I role.
Safety and Compliance : Adhere to all health, safety, and quality guidelines, as well as company housekeeping standards.
Customer Focus : Prioritize customer satisfaction, ensuring projects meet both timing and quality requirements.
Project Management : Facilitate intermediate part number projects, including complex part redesigns, intricate mold setups, and challenging secondary operations. Oversee component sub-assemblies, subcontract selection, and support for 10+ active projects across multiple facilities.
Advanced Market Projects : Manage projects in markets such as automotive, aerospace, defense, and medical.
Quality Assurance : Handle quality-related responsibilities for new projects by creating and maintaining customer documentation, resolving issues, and supporting customer complaints.
Process Improvement : Independently develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods through sampling, feedback analysis, and customer input.
Cross-functional Collaboration : Serve as a contributing member in plant management operational review meetings with the executive team.
Company Advancement : Participate in strategic company advancement projects.
Technical Application : Apply knowledge of investment casting processes to enhance performance in Dip/Dewax, tooling design, melt, and heat treatment.
Manufacturing Efficiency : Define process steps, tooling, gauging, and material requirements for cost-effective and efficient production.
Customer Standards : Manage projects to meet or exceed customer expectations for timing and quality standards.
Team Influence : Utilize technical expertise to positively influence process knowledge and support manufacturing teams and leadership.
Crisis Support : Act as a contributing team member during critical line-down situations.
Supervisory Responsibilities : None
Qualifications

Education : Bachelor’s degree in a technical engineering field from a four-year college or university.
Experience : Minimum of 3 years of relevant engineering experience; a combination of education and experience may also be considered.
Skills : Prior experience with CAD is preferred, with demonstrated ability in manufacturing project management and investment casting.
Pay Details: $95,000.00 to $105,000.00 per year
