The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing safety, physical and mental/behavioral health assessments, first aid and medication administration to the youth in the program. Embedded in the healthcare teams are lead, triage, and program nurses. The nurse will oversee the child’s medical needs throughout their stay while collaborating with outpatient providers to assure holistic care. The registered nurse collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to assure continuity, efficient care, and effective and discharge planning. The nurse will conduct the initial nursing assessment, reconcile any current medication, and provide detailed and accurate documentation assuring all requirements are met throughout their admission.

1) Experience/desire to work with adolescent population (ages 6-12)

2) Experience or strong desire to work in Behavioral Health

3) Minimum: Associate Degree in Nursing

Description: This is for the Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility. They have a campus of 23 (equipped with gym and cafeteria) at a time and have a tough time filling RNs for 2nd shift mostly. T his is a Sub Acute facility that will have RN Managers on call during every shift.

Schedules: 2 shifts: 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm - Weekend availability is a HUGE plus, but not a disqualifier if they cannot). 40 hour/week commitment!

1st Shift Pay Rate: $36

2nd Shift Pay Rate: $43

Education :

• Bachelor’s in nursing degree and experience in nursing care of children and adolescent psychiatric population.

• Minimum of an Associate degree in Nursing.

• CPR Certified.

Interview Process: 1 zoom with RN Manager and Assistant RN Manager, invited to come on site for 1 shadow and then decision is made same-day.
