The Department of Health, Bureau of Immunizations, is seeking a Registry Specialist Supervisor to join our Division of Immunization Information Systems and Technology team of dedicated professionals. DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will lead the planning, organization, and development of a comprehensive implementation program for standardized electronic reporting procedures that apply to all healthcare providers. Your responsibilities will include offering technical expertise in workflow analysis to healthcare providers and their staff, helping them design effective reporting procedures, and troubleshooting issues related to participation in the immunization registry. You will work closely with the PIERS Registry Manager to engage and promote participation among immunization providers and public health partners. Additionally, you will document, review, and apply standard operating procedures to streamline onboarding, outreach, and training efforts. You will also develop training plans tailored to the needs of users, including staff, immunization providers, schools, and other partners. This role allows for significant independence, with periodic reviews to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and standards.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time with a requirement to report to the office a minimum of one day per month or as directed. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Registry Specialist (commonwealth job title); or One year of professional healthcare data management experience.
