DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Print Production Technician, you will be responsible operating high-speed, production-level printers and inserters to produce a variety of forms, letters, manuals, brochures, posters, marketing materials, and envelopes.  You will oversee the setup and operation of various high speed digital printers, review job specifications, and prepare, program, and release jobs from the print queue.  Strong leadership skills are vital, as you will be assigning and reviewing work, training employees, and performing quality control functions.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. This position is essential, meaning you may be required to report to work during emergencies and office closings.

Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.  Employees who are new to the Commonwealth will start at the minimum starting salary. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Print Production Operator; or One year of experience in the operation of print or mail insertion equipment or similar machinery used in a print or mail production facility; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements: Experience running production equipment. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
