Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Print and Mail Operations Manager (Administrative Officer 3) in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

This position serves as the operations manager for the print and mailing operations for the Department of Labor & Industry. This position directs and coordinates printing, distribution, and mailroom operations and planning for the department. The position assists the Division Chief of Management Services in the activities of the Digital Print Center, Document Print Center, and Mailroom Distribution Center through subordinate supervisors and lead workers.  Bring your professional skills and ambition to our team.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position serves as operations manager, overseeing all activities for the Document Print Center, Digital Print Centers (Harrisburg & Scranton) and Mailroom Distribution Center. Responsibilities include directing and providing guidance to supervisors, performing follow up reviews, and tracking and documenting all production volume and costs of operations. You will have the opportunity to analyze and prepare reports for software and hardware solutions, serve as point of contact to outside vendors for ongoing evaluations of products, software, and systems, research new processes and solutions, and analyze and prepare recommendations.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment. Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, (negotiable) Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Administrative Officer 2; or Four years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management of staff work in public or private organization, including experience in personnel management budgeting or procurement; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four-year college or university; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Other Requirements: This particular position requires the selected candidate to possess two or more years of full-time experience with the operations of a printing or mailing facility.
