JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Pennsylvania State University Harrisburg is seeking a candidate for a Part-time Administrative Support Assistant within the Admissions Office (Graduate Admissions). Job DutiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Answerdaily email correspondence and telephone calls from prospective applicants/students for general and specific information. Assist with processing all aspects of graduate applications. Maintain student and admissions files and databases. Compose and edit written communications. Collaborate with faculty and staff at Harrisburg and University Park. Resolve program staff issues, and field their application questions. Utilize multiple databases for daily workflow. Maintain application records/filing. Review program websites for updates on staff, deadlines, and supporting materials. Update internal directories for graduate programs, program deadlines, exchange agreement staff, and program requirements. Become familiar with requirements for all graduate programs. Become familiar with international student requirements. Run reports to assist in determining workflow. Requirements and Qualifications Typically requiresa high school diploma or higher plus one year of related experience. Ideal candidate will have experience with LionPath, Slate, DocFinity, and the Microsoft Office suite.
