In this position, you will be responsible for formulating and executing administrative procedures within the Grants Center to efficiently oversee rebate and grant agreements. Additionally, you will work in conjunction with technical staff from the department to ensure seamless operations.
The Department of Environmental Protection administers a variety of grant programs designed to address multiple environmental issues. These initiatives are essential for promoting sustainable practices and mitigating environmental impacts. The Grants Center is integral in providing administrative support for many of these grant and rebate programs, ensuring that they are managed effectively and in alignment with departmental objectives. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $44,890.00 (before taxes). QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Three years of advanced clerical or para-professional work which included the collection, recording, compilation, and presentation of office management or program related information; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. An Associate's Degree may be substituted for two years of required experience.
