The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), Department of Agriculture (AG), and the Milk Board Human Resource (HR) Office has an opening for a Human Resource Analyst 3 to serve as an Employee Relations Specialist. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Human Resource Analyst 3, you will be responsible for coordinating employee relations activities in assigned organizations within the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), Department of Agriculture, and Milk Board. Work includes coordinating disciplinary actions, advising managers and supervisors on disciplinary procedures, principles, and standards, conducting pre-disciplinary conferences, as well as recommending appropriate action and prepares disciplinary letters. You will have the opportunity to utilize your experience as you interpret and apply the provisions of collective bargaining agreements (CBA) or memorandums of understanding (MOU) between the Commonwealth and AFSCME, UGSOA, FOSCEP, FOP, and PSRA unions. This includes interpreting and applying employment related law, regulations, management directives, policies, and work rules.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch, negotiable. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Human Resource Analyst 2 (Commonwealth title); or Three years of analytical experience that includes two years of professional human resource experience, and a bachelor's degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
