DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position works in a collaborative environment reviewing utility rate filings, working in teams of engineers, other analysts, and attorneys with the common goal of recommending just and reasonable utility rates that balance the needs of regulated utility companies, the ratepayers served, and the community as a whole.  Combine your writing, analytical, and time management skills in this dynamic position analyzing financial data and writing testimony and related data requests, and making recommendations before an administrative law judge in quasi-judicial proceedings.  There is plenty of opportunity for growth, learning a challenging and important area of utility rate setting, which allows for development of specialized knowledge that is currently in demand.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Telework: Part-time work from home (telework) may be a potential feature of this position. The successful candidate is required to report to the headquarters worksite daily, unless the employee meets eligibility requirements and telework has been approved. To be eligible to participate in telework, the employee's alternate (telework) worksite must meet the following requirements: Within a reasonable travel distance of Harrisburg; and Within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: A bachelor's degree with major course work in accounting, economics, finance, or business administration, which included or is supplemented by 15 credit hours in finance related coursework. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
