DESCRIPTION OF WORK In the role of Equal Opportunity Manager 2 at the Department of Transportation, your responsibilities will include overseeing and coordinating federal and state Equal Opportunity (EO) initiatives. Your main objective will be to ensure that PennDOT programs, services, and activities are delivered fairly to both internal and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, funding recipients, and sub-recipients. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing various state and federal programs such as Federal Contract Compliance, Commonwealth Workforce Transformation Program (CWTP), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Small Business Enterprise (SBE), On-the-Job Training (OJT), Diverse Business (DB), and Title VI programs. These programs cover a range of areas including Limited English Proficiency (LEP), Environmental Justice, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and state civil rights laws. You will also be involved in developing plans, program data reports, and publications as required, and ensuring compliance with relevant State Laws, Executive Orders, Federal Regulations, and Management Directives.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year of experience as an Equal Opportunity Manager 1 (Commonwealth title); or Five years of analytical experience in an equal opportunity program that includes four years of professional experience and two years of supervisory experience, and a bachelor's degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes two years of supervisory experience.
