The Bureau of Motor Vehicles is seeking a Clerical Assistant 3 to handle basic motor vehicle and driver licensing applications from the public in a face-to-face setting. DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Clerical Assistant 3 you will examine and process motor vehicle and driver license applications for the following: The renewal and replacement of licenses and non-driver photo identification cards The update of commercial driver license medical certifications To satisfy and process driver license restorations To review and process applications for request of ownership to motor vehicles The issuance of various registration plates The processing of applications for persons with disability parking placards And more!Additionally, you will be dealing with payments, discrepancies, and inventory.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title); or

One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements:
