Bring your skills to our department and make your career aspirations a reality! DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Building Automation Systems Operator, you will perform a variety of tasks. The Building Automation (BA) Systems series describes work in operating, maintaining, repairing, installing, programming, and designing BA systems and devices. You will be responsible for monitoring and operating BA systems using established software navigation and testing procedures and processes. This includes identifying and recording operational problems and reporting issues for resolution. Work involves performing scheduled preventative maintenance, testing, and routine repair duties on BA system hardware; running standard reports on system indicators and performance; and recommending and inputting approved adjustments to BA system software settings. Work also includes assisting higher-level technicians and trades employees with installing and commissioning BA systems and diagnosing or resolving issues with BA system-controlled equipment and related systems. You may have the opportunity to maintain and adjust pneumatic, electro-mechanical, and electronic controls based on approved settings. You will have the ability to work independently however, your work will be checked upon completion for adherence to guidelines and quality and timeliness standards.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. This position is considered essential. You will be required to report to work during emergencies and office closings. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience in the maintenance, repair, or installation of heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) or refrigeration systems, related digitally controlled equipment, or BA systems; or Completion of a three-year Vo-Tech training program in refrigeration, HVAC, or building automation and six months experience in the maintenance, repair, or installation of HVAC or refrigeration systems, related digitally controlled equipment, or BA systems; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Necessary Special Requirements: This position requires possession of an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C Driver's License or equivalent.
