Reference #: 4623069 THE POSITION Are you an experienced, dependable, and highly motivated office support professional?  The Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission is eager to welcome an Administrative Officer 3 to serve with the Division of Licensing and Registration in the planning, organization, and directing of operations for the commission's statewide programs associated with boat registrations, boat titles, the sale and distribution of fishing licenses, and special permits.  If you are a strong leader, detail-oriented and a reliable team player, we look forward to meeting you!

DESCRIPTION OF WORK As an Administrative Officer 3, you will manage and supervise subordinate staff who are responsible for the processing of boat registrations and titles submitted by customers or authorized boat registration agents.  Duties also involve drafting and recommending policies and procedures regarding boat registrations and titling, and the sale, distribution, and accounting of fishing licenses and launch permits.

This position also functions as the operations manager for the Pennsylvania Automated License Systems (PALS) which is a complex point-of-sale electronic system to sell fishing licenses, permits, cast nets, launch permits, magazines, products, and renew boats online.  You will also review and make recommendations on the appointment of fishing licenses and boat registrations, licensing agents, and launch permit agents.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Administrative Officer 2; or Four years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management of staff work in public or private organization, including experience in personnel management budgeting or procurement; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four-year college or university; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
