We are looking to appoint a Diversity and Inclusion Partner for our UK organisation to help drive and embed the strategy into our everyday working, positively impacting the lived experience of our people and taking us to the next phase of our journey. This role reports to our Organisational Effectiveness (OE)Lead.

As the D&I Partner you will play a key role in the evolution and integration of the D & I strategy across the business ensuring it is embedded into everything we do. This role requires strong influencing qualities, with the ability work with stakeholders at all levels, working to embed the way we think and work to prepare our business for the future with the ability to approach business from a creative point of view.

Objectives of this role:

  • Ensure that Diversity and Inclusion remains a key focus in the organisation to provide a golden thread into everything we do.

  • Ensure that Raytheon UK is recognised both internally and externally as a leader in Diversity and Inclusion

  • Co-collaborate to translate the Diversity and Inclusion strategy into actionable goals for performance & growth, underpinned by Key Performance Indicators and Metrics.

  • Work closely with stakeholders across the organization, both in the UK and the wider RTX organisation, to deliver a culture of diversity and inclusion.

    Your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver and embed the UK D & I strategy with the support of your leader influencing relevant key stakeholders across the organisation.

  • Undertake a review of our current culture, people, policies and processes to ensure that they are supportive of the D & I strategy and identify areas to improve.

  • Work closely with the Executive Sponsors of our ERGs and UK People & Cultural Transformation Director to influence and drive engagements that educate across all areas of the business

  • Ensure that you are up to speed with trends and making sure that we remain competitive in the external market.

  • Nurture the existing external relationships with key external bodies.

  • Provide DE&I input to support bids and proposals submissions for new business opportunities

  • Work with the People & Cultural Transformation team to ensure that we create a brand that appeals to diverse applicants and removes any potential bias.

  • Ensure all our talent management and people development initiatives are fully inclusive.

  • Ensure we have a relevant set of KPI’s to ensure that we can measure success and identify areas of focus.

  • Support workforce reporting activity in line with Company and statutory requirements.

  • Develop and ensure deployment of a calendar of activities and events in line with the Diversity and Inclusion strategy.

  • Work with and align all Employee Resource groups (ERGs) to ensure alignment and identify any efficiencies.

    To be successful in this role you will have or capability in:

  • Proven experience within a Diversity and Inclusion role.

  • Proven experience of embedding a diverse and inclusive culture.

  • Change Management skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of developing effective, long-lasting relationships.

  • Significant influencing abilities within an organisation with the ability to solve complex problems objectively.

  • The ability to analyse data and provide an insights driven approach

  • Be able to work with a wide variety of other organisations, able to influence and be influenced when appropriate to bring to bear the latest ideas, thinking, and leadership.

  • Be an innovative & creative problem solver.

  • Be a resilient, credible and trusted partner.
