Job/Position DescriptionClerk IUnder the direct supervision of the Director of Behavioral Health Services.This position will work Monday-Friday, with the shift being 8 AM - 5 PM. Flexibilityin work hours may be required for this position. The position may be required towork overtime and/or extended hours. They will be responsible for entry-levelclerical work in areas such as data entry, file maintenance, assistance withdocument request, attending meetings for completing minutes for the variouscommittees within the department.Essential Job FunctionsAttends work on a regular basis and may be required to work a specific shift schedule or, at times, even a rotating schedule, extended shift and/or overtime in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned.and#149; Produces and proofs correspondence, reports, logs, document requests, and other related forms. and#149; Attends departmental meetings/committees to serve as a scribe.and#149; Answers inquiries regarding policies and procedures, assists the Director of Behavioral Health Services with various clerical duties.and#149; Posts information to agency records and modifies forms or records.and#149; Assembles, organizes, and tabulates data.and#149; Files and maintains supplies, forms, records, and reports.and#149; May perform data entry and retrieval.Other duties as assigned include but are not limited to actively participating and/or serving in a supporting role to meet the agencyand#146;s obligations for disaster response and/or recovery or Continuity of Operations (COOP) activation. Such participation may require an alternate shift pattern assignment and/or locationRegistrations, Licensure Requirements or CertificationsNoneKnowledge Skills Abilitiesand#149; Knowledge of office procedures and of spelling, grammar, punctuation, and arithmetic.and#149; Skill in the use of a computer and office equipment.and#149; Ability to prepare and maintain records, files, and reports,and#149; Ability to communicate with others effectively, both orally and written form.and#149; Knowledge of the facility Operating Procedures Manual (OPM).and#149; General knowledge of ICF/IID standards.and#149; Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times. Initial Screening CriteriaGraduation from a standard high school or equivalent. Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Two (2) years experience in a clerical setting. Minimum of two (2) years work experience in clerical or administrative duties.
