CREARE LLC Quality Assurance Manager in Hanover, New Hampshire

Job Responsibilities Creare, a leading engineering research and development firm in Hanover, NH, seeks to fill the position of Quality Assurance Manager. The Quality Assurance Manager reports to the QA Director and the Quality Engineer and assists the QA Director with corporate-wide QA activities, including but not limited to: writing and maintaining QA procedures, leading the development and administration of Quality training, conducting internal audits, managing calibration database, managing weekly QA department meetings, managing corporate QA improvement issues; monitoring QA metrics and addressing issues with responsible parties, participating in customer quality assurance audits. The QA Manager also assists the QA Engineer and project teams with project-specific QA needs such as reviewing Manufacturing Orders, QC Inspection/Receiving, etc.

Professional Requirements BS in Business/Administration or Science with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace or electronics (or equivalent combination of education and experience). ASQ certifications, such as lead auditor certification are preferred and demonstrate the candidates expertise and commitment to Quality Assurance.

The ideal candidate understands ISO9001 and AS9100 standards, has effective organization, multi-tasking, time and task management skills, strong attention to detail, and consistently employs professional business behavior. They are skilled in Microsoft Office and have skill/familiarity with a diversity of software such as Access, Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint, and advanced Internet research. The candidate must be able to interpret contract documents and translate them into project-specific quality requirements and procedures. Must be able to interpret hardware drawings and understand bills of materials. The ideal candidate has a basic understanding/experience with manufacturing/assembly processes and with product development processes.

Starting salary range of $75,000 - $110,000 per year, based on level of education completed, and years of relevant experience.
