Within our central HR department, the Global Mobility Services department is responsible for supporting all expatriates throughout the Continental Group. In addition to the preparation and supervision of secondments, our activities also include, for example, direct advice to the secondees, the preparation of posting contracts and corresponding salary calculations or cooperation with external service providers. Our department includes three teams in different countries.
To support our team at the location Hanover, we are looking for an internship (m/f/diverse) for 6 months starting from September. It is also possible to combine a compulsory share with a voluntary internship of up to 3 months.
After getting to know our team, our posting guidelines and related processes and projects, the tasks include, but are not limited to:
Preparation of and support with international assignments
Preparation of assignment contracts and salary calculations
Preparation of cost estimates
Cooperation with worldwide HR departments and external service providers (e.g. in the areas of taxation, immigration, relocation, intercultural preparation)
Independent work with our assignment management software
Participation in annual salary and bonus processes
Support with local and international projects
Analysis of data from our assignment management software
Creation of presentations in German and English
Students in the field of economics or social sciences, psychology or a comparable field of study, ideally with a focus on human resources
Initial experience in human resources desirable (e.g. through internships or working student activities)
Initial experience abroad is an advantage (e.g. through semesters abroad)
Good German (preferred but not compulsory) and very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
Confident handling of MS Office programs
Affinity for working with IT systems
High level of personal responsibility, independence and commitment
Very good teamwork, organizational and communication skills
