We are seeking a detail-oriented Utilization Review Registered Nurse to be responsible for prior authorizations for the Inpatient Unit, Labor and Delivery, and outpatient testing along with determining medical necessity of patient while hospitalized. Our Utilization Review RN will be part of an excellent team of Case Management RN’s. As a Utilization Review RN you will work in multiple electronic medical records/computer programs and with insurance companies.

Position Requirements: Associate's Degree in Nursing required Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree preferred State of Michigan RN license required Nursing experience required Case management or utilization experience preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) required (available upon hire) Annual influenza vaccination or declination required

Position Details: 0.6 FTE (part-time, 24 hours per week) Work daily, Monday - Friday Day shift
