Amazon Financial Analyst, Mechatronics and Sustainable Packaging in Hamme, Belgium

Description

As a Financial Analyst you will play a vital role in the finance team to support the development of the automation solutions that power Amazon's retail operations around the world.

In this role you will be responsible for monitoring and optimize our company's cost management processes. You will analyze costs and processes, while providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.

Key job responsibilities

  • Analyze procure to pay process, follow-up on issues and work closely with Shared Service Center to solve them

  • Work closely with other teams to monitor costs and provide valuable insights

  • Prepare management reports and financial analysis

  • Provide hands-on support for month-end and year-end financial closures and audits

  • Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes

About the team

The MSP Hamme finance team is responsible for financial reporting, planning, and business partnering on research & development and manufacturing activities of the MSP Hamme Operations team. The team is focusing on process improvement and reporting to support the business.

Basic Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)

  • Experience with accounting and financial reporting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of USGAAP, BEGAAP or other accounting frameworks

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable processes
