Director, Medicaid Eligibility

(Relocation Assistance & $ign-On Bonus available)

About the Role

You will be responsible for Operation and Delivery functions including the design, development, implementation and maintenance of processes and procedures. This will enable a positive employee experience for client operational services. This is an exciting opportunity to utilize your expertise to transform operations in a stimulating and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities

  • Directing the operational plans, organizing staff, and coordinating the operations for multiple lines of business.

  • Call Center with approximately 300 FTEs

  • Transaction Processing with approximately 250 FTEs

  • Document Processing (Inbound Mailroom)

  • Outbound Print Mail

  • Quality Department with approximately 35 FTEs

  • Multiple outreach office locations throughout New Jersey

  • Ensuring consistent, timely and high-quality processing of administrative services for the state of New Jersey’s Family Care operations

  • Driving delivery of operational performance and service standards against pre-defined Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators on a consistent basis.

  • Coaching and mentoring team managers, leads, supervisors and specialists. Providing information, guidance and direction on policies, processes, and procedures.

  • Fostering relationships with internal Client Advocacy Teams and Account Managers while ensuring delivery and assisting in growth

  • Resolving escalations with external providers. Obtaining and understanding root cause analysis and corrective action for complex or non-routine situations for all levels of employees and management.

  • Collaborating with compliance owners to ensure processes align with regulatory requirements for applicable lines of business. Mitigates risk related to processes and operational performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree: MBA pref

  • Have a strong understanding of Government Programs ( e.g Medicaid, SNAP, etc.)

  • Have excellent leadership and people management skills and experience

  • Be able to identify and implement process improvements.

  • Be able to understand impacts to other functions (both upstream and downstream

  • Have proactive and creative analytical and creative problem-solving skills

  • Be able to effectively communicate with and influence stakeholders at all levels

  • Have a "customer first" mindset and work effectively as part of a team.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $127k-$140K .
