Green Mountain has exclusively partnered with CBRE to staff our new data center site in Hamar. We need numerous positions within Operations to support what will become Norway’s largest data center. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Main Purpose

Service Manager main tasks is to ensure the operational delivery of daily work within and outside of the Base FM Scope is carried out. The Site Manager is also to highlight any issues within the realm of operational work to the Contract Manager, provide support for planners through administrative, technical, and practical work.

The Service Manager also manages and follow up internal CBRE processes, making sure that the delivery is in line with the statutory requirements, CBRE regulations, Client standards and CBRE’s QHSE and RISE policy.

The role also entitles in-depth technical support and guidance for projects and small works performed on site in both planning, execution, and completion.

Key Accountabilities

  • Creating, maintaining, and reviewing a program of work by ensuring that activities are completed on time.

  • Supporting in producing progress reports and forecasts

  • Supporting in calculation of resources needed for an activity

  • Meeting with contractors and suppliers

  • Demonstrating and sharing knowledge of installations

  • Maintaining a good structure of service protocols, inspections protocols and drawings

  • Identifying constraints and risks

  • Participate in the planning for service and maintenance and set time frames for the work to be performed together with the other team and Contract Manager.

  • Overlook on asset management, 5/10 year asset plan, Critical Spare parts – overall

  • Contribute to the development of working procedures and processes.

  • Determine and identify labor and skill required to perform the work or bring in external support if needed.

  • Volunteer ideas / initiatives that contribute to the service levels and delivery.

  • Endorse day to day and future compliance to safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.

  • Ensuring a customer focus within all areas of operational activities, and that effective relationships are maintained with key client contacts

  • Ensure the provision of healthy and safe working conditions and that both clients and Company health and safety policy and process is effectively implemented across both our teams’ services and subcontractors’ activities and are regularly review

  • Delivering effective business communication through advice, review and direct contribution to management and team meetings, briefings, consultation forums, correspondence, publicity, monthly and ad-hoc reporting and other publications, as appropriate

YOUR PROFILE

  • Previous experience in operational environments and one of the following: Mechanical, Electrical, facilities management, projects, building services

  • Experience in dealing with a range of people from junior to senior level including site employees, suppliers and customers

  • Enthused by a fast paced, high growth environment with the affinity to work in a matrix organization

  • Results focused with the drive to grow the business

  • Experience in internal and external client management as well as supplier management

  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills

  • Applicants (m/f/d) should be highly motivated and self-confident.

  • High degree of integrity and sincerity

  • Excellent presentation skills - written, verbal and presentation.

  • Business fluency in both Norwegian and English
