Leonardo DRS, Inc. Inside Sale and Marketing Representative in Halifax, Nova Scotia

Reporting directly to the Director, Business Development, the Inside Sales and Marketing Representative will be responsible for providing new and current customers with product information including pricing, delivery, inventory stocking, and/or lead time availability.

As an Inside Sales and Marketing Representative, your main responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Maintain current customer information including sales contracts, inventory requirements, contract terms, and other pertinent account details.

  • Capture information regarding the number of customer contracts, orders, proposals/ dollars sold, and prepare written reports and quarterly reviews.

  • Preparation of written responses to price quotes and proposals.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services to customers.

  • Lead the formal review process for quotations including profitability, timing, and execution of new orders.

  • Identify, escalate, and resolve problem accounts with support from Manager.

  • Elevate customer requests for deviations to standard operating procedures.

  • Assist with special project as assigned by Manager.

  • Maintain salesforce sales data including forecasting of future growth and opportunities.

What you require to be successful in the role:

  • Possession of a Business degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution or equivalent years of experience.

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a sales or support role.

  • Proficiency working with Microsoft Office software programs specifically Word and Excel.

  • Proficiency working with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.

  • Ability to demonstrate strong customer service, problem solving, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
