Here’s what the opportunity supported through our TGS Talent Acquisition Team requires:

The IT team is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Leader to join our Scrum team. The myIT team within the End User Support department is responsible for supporting the ServiceNow platform for Allegis Group’s global enterprise. We own the development and successful delivery of quality features that support IT service management and business process automation for Allegis Group on the ServiceNow platform.

The ServiceNow Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of functionality on the ServiceNow platform. In addition, the position will advise and collaborate on the strategic roadmap for the platform.

Minimum Experience:

• 10 years of Information Technology experience

• Minimum of 2 yrs. of experience leading a ServiceNow development team (Scrum Master, Developers, Testers, Analysts)

• 5+ years of experience working on the ServiceNow Platform; experience with at least 2 of the following modules ITOM, CSM, ITSM, SPM

• Experience leading diverse Agile team

• Experience working in an offshore/onshore collaborative environment

• Certified ServiceNow System Administrator Certification

• Experience integrating ServiceNow with other applications

Skills/Abilities:

• Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building

• Proven ability to lead software development efforts or implement services and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent oral and written communications skills

• Ability to plan, organize, and steer activities with competing demands

• Ability to establish/maintain elevated level of customer trust and confidence

• Solid understanding of systems development life cycle models

• Able to identify and understand complex problems/issues and develop solutions

• Ability to travel without restrictions (domestic and international)

Essential Functions:

• Day to Day leadership of the ServiceNow development team ensuring deliverables are met and ensuring adherence to quality standards

• Partner with Business Analysts to manage the product backlog and create product features and user stories to support the design, configuration, and development on the ServiceNow platform

• Establish/Maintain operational/team objectives and goals

• Drive team members to leverage defined processes that aid in increasing productivity and minimizing waste to ensure work is delivered on time,

• Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work, and mentoring team members

• Promote empowerment of the team, ensures that each team member is fully engaged and making a meaningful contribution

• Effectively communicate and engage with highly technical resources and challenge analysts, developers, testers and architects thought processes to drive best in class solutions.

• Escalation point of contact for stakeholders and internal team members to resolve conflict, remove obstacles and provide/find solutions when needed
