  • Position: Director of Medical Practice Operations

  • Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours a week. Monday through Friday 8AM - 5PM

  • Hospital: Ascension Saint Agnes

  • Location: On-site. Baltimore, Maryland. Some travel required, primary work location Lansdowne Station-Halethorpe.

Ascension Saint Agnes is seeking a healthcare leader with a passion for operational excellence and patient care. We are looking for a highly skilled Director of Medical Practice Operations to join our team and oversee our Primary Care and Medicine subspecialty departments, including Cardiology, Endocrinology, and Pulmonary. Responsibilities

Direct the development and implementation of policies, procedures and strategies.

  • Organizes operations to provide high quality, cost effective services. Models leadership and teaming excellence by providing appropriate advice and counsel to staff to improve effectiveness.

  • Develops and implements policies and procedures that support the delivery of services to meet all productivity plans.

  • Coordinates and integrates services to meet contractual requirements. Conducts ongoing assessments, maintains quality control programs, and improves departmental operations.

  • Directs staff.

  • Manages departmental turnover while maintaining high employee and patient satisfaction.

  • Identifies marketing and collaborative opportunities for the department.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

  • Registered Nurse preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor'sdegree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those yearsbeing in leadership/management.

Additional Preferences

  • Proficiency in people management and strategic planning.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong background in healthcare operations.

  • Leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop teams.

  • Proficiency in Google Drive applications such as Docs, Sheets, and Slides is preferred.
