Eaton Corporation Financial Analyst in Haina, Dominican Republic

What you’ll do:

This position is a Finance Analyst role reporting to the Finance Planning Manager. This role is a financial professional who specializes in analyzing financial data and providing insights related to the operations of the site. This role involves working closely with both the finance and operations teams to support decision-making and optimize financial performance within the operational functions.

The responsibilities of a Plant Finance Analyst include:

• Financial Analysis and Performance Reporting: prepare regular financial reports and performance updates for the operations team and management, highlighting key financial metrics and variances to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Collaborate for each plant functions to develop action plans, strategies and initiatives needed to achieve the expected targets!

• Process Improvement: Collaborate with operations teams to identify inefficiencies and process improvement opportunities that can lead to improved results.

• Decision Support: Provide financial insights and analysis to support operational decision-making, such as evaluating capital deployment opportunities or new projects.

• Supporting initiatives (including CAPEX- and Inventory) and influence changes: evaluate proposals for productivity improvements and growth in areas such as operational excellence, continuous improvement, quality, and supply chain management.

• Risk Management: Identify financial risks within the operations and support mitigation strategies.

• Forecasting: Support the main financial processes for the site, such forecasts and profit plan

• Profit Plan process - report preparation, operational / financial review, and variance analysis.

• Departmental budget reporting and analysis.

• Various financial and non-financial operational performance control measures and analysis

• Provide cross functional support of plant wide initiatives such as 5S Audits, Gemba Walks, EHS initiatives, etc, as needed

• Ad hoc analysis and projects as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, Business Administration or related field

1+ years varied finance experience

Fully Bilingual (English / Spanish)

Computer skills: Microsoft office (advance excel), Oracle, Prefer: PBI, ENCORE, Mapics

Strong analytical skills

•Well-versed in business ethics

•Ability to communicate complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner

•Detail-oriented with effective organization and time management skills

•Highly analytical and self-starter
