West Virginia Employer Correctional Maintenance Officer I - Electronics in Hagerstown, Maryland
POSITIONS IN HAGERSTOWN. Incumbent is responsible under general supervision for the repair work, training and supervision of inmates in the electronics trade at a State Correctional Facility. Incumbent may perform more complex or security sensitive maintenance and repair task from time to time and may work out of his assigned trade when needed. Preference will be given to applicants with the following knowledge, skills and abilities: Ability to perform certain installation, maintenance, new construction, or repair tasks. Ability to operate hand and power tools and equipment needed. Maintain CCTV systems including multiplexors, PLC devices, video components, VCRs, televisions and monitors along with the accompanying computer hardware and software. Maintain audio equipment such as amplifiers, public address systems, intercoms, nurse call and paging systems within the institution. Ability to repair telephone system which is a computer based standalone telephone system, portable radios and MATV systems, which is a satellite receiver based television system for inmate and staff viewing.
