What you’ll do:

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide design support for New Product Development and current product engineering related projects for EV Transmissions. Applicant needs to closely work with sub system leads to provide timely support and ensure deliverables in line with project schedule. The role is to support design activities from concept to launch of the product in co-ordination with various internal stakeholders like project lead, test lab, manufacturing, and project management. The applicant should be proficient with 3D drafting tools like Creo and tolerance stackups for product design. The applicant must be self-motivated and possess good communication skills with cross functional team.

"• Prepare component & system layouts, design concepts in 3D drafting tools Creo for current product engineering and NPI projects.

• Apply knowledge of GD&T and work on Enovia environment to release the design and models.

• Demonstrate and leverage knowledge on engineering drawing design fundamentals and analytical skills to leverage analysis first approach.

• Perform assembly stack-up & tolerance stack up analysis.

• Applicant shall have good communication skill to lead projects effectively

• Applicant shall have knowledge on manufacturing processes, material, design of various components, and engineering standards.

• Good understanding of design for assembly

Qualifications:

Diploma in Mechanical in 2023/2024

0-1 Years

Good to have entry level experience on automotive powertrain.

Skills:

Good analytical skills in mechanical domain. Knowledge of enclosures, shift system, gear, bearing & spline, casting, forgings, stamping etc. Good interpersonal skills, ability to clearly communicate to stakeholders.
